SlimTide Supplement Facts: The Label Line by Line
This is the first product in this series to arrive with a complete Supplement Facts panel. This page transcribes all of it, and marks each line for what it does and does not establish.
The SlimTide panel declares three amounts per serving: 211 mg chicory root inulin, 100 mg potato resistant starch and a 36 mg probiotic blend.
It also prints a full Other Ingredients line, the required footnote, storage advice, a caution and a named distributor.
For what each one is, see SlimTide ingredients.

Transcribed from the supplied label flat, read at full resolution. Three declared per-serving amounts, a proprietary blend with its three organisms listed underneath in descending order of weight, the required footnote, and a complete Other Ingredients line. Nothing on this panel is missing that FDA’s labeling guide asks for, which is why the rest of this site is about what the figures mean rather than about what is absent.
Clickable: every line on the label
A numbered marker on each printed line. Each one opens two fields, and the second is the one that matters.

Serving Size: 1 Capsule · Servings Per Container: 30
- What it tells you
- One capsule is a serving and there are thirty of them. Every figure in the panel below is per capsule, and the bottle is thirty days.
- What it does not say
- It does not say when to take it. The written pack says morning and before a meal; the label itself says neither.
Chicory Root Inulin (Cichorium intybus)(root) — 211 mg †
- What it tells you
- A real, declared, per-serving amount — the thing this whole series of sites keeps asking for. It is 211 milligrams.
- What it does not say
- It does not say how that compares with any published dose. EU Regulation 2015/2314 authorises the chicory inulin bowel-function claim only for foods providing 12 grams a day.
Potato [Resistant Starch] (tuber) — 100 mg †
- What it tells you
- The second declared amount, also real and also per serving.
- What it does not say
- The authorised EU claim for resistant starch is about replacing digestible starch within a meal so that resistant starch is at least 14% of the total. A capsule taken with water replaces nothing.
Probiotic Blend — 36 mg †
- What it tells you
- Thirty-six milligrams of powder, shared by three organisms. Because it is a proprietary blend the names below it must be in descending order of weight, which puts a ceiling on each one.
- What it does not say
- Milligrams are not organisms. The number that describes a probiotic is colony-forming units, and it does not appear anywhere on this label.
Bifidobacterium infantis · Clostridium butyricum · Akkermansia muciniphila
- What it tells you
- Genus and species for all three, which is more than most blends print, and the order is quantitative because the regulation requires it.
- What it does not say
- No strain designation for any of them. NIH is explicit that probiotic effects are strain-specific, so a species name alone cannot be looked up against any trial.
† Daily Value Not Established
- What it tells you
- The required footnote for an ingredient with no Daily Value. It is correct and it is where it should be.
- What it does not say
- It is not a comment on whether the amount above it does anything. It only means no reference intake has been set.
Hypromellose (vegetarian capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica.
- What it tells you
- A complete inactive list, and hypromellose is what makes the vegetarian mark on this bottle true rather than decorative.
- What it does not say
- It says nothing about allergens beyond what is listed, and nothing about how the live organisms were stabilised.
Refrigerate for optimal quality. … STORE IN A COOL, DRY PLACE.
- What it tells you
- Both sentences are printed on the same label. The first appears twice, under Suggested Use and again under Storage.
- What it does not say
- They do not agree. A refrigerator is cool and it is not dry, and nothing says which instruction wins or what happens to the organisms in the days the bottle spends in transit.
What each declared amount is worth
The first column of this table is the reason this site is different from the others in the series: these are real, declared, per-serving figures. The last column is what happens when you compare them with the only published numbers anybody has set.
The middle column is the interesting one. Each of those targets was written down by somebody who examined the evidence: two of them by the European Commission on EFSA’s advice, one by the National Institutes of Health. None of them was chosen by this site.
The lines that are not in the panel
- Suggested use
- As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily with an 8 oz. glass of water. Refrigerate for optimal quality.
- Storage
- Keep away from heat, light, and humidity to preserve freshness. Refrigerate for optimal quality.
- Caution
- Do not exceed recommended dose. Pregnant or nursing mothers, children under the age of 18 and individuals with a known medical condition should consult a physician before using this or any dietary supplement.
- Keep out of reach
- KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT USE IF SAFETY SEAL IS DAMAGED OR MISSING. STORE IN A COOL, DRY PLACE.

Two things to notice
The storage instruction contradicts itself: “Refrigerate for optimal quality” appears twice, and “STORE IN A COOL, DRY PLACE” appears four lines below it.
And the address has no street line. Lakeland, Florida, 33804 is a city, a state and a ZIP code. It is not somewhere you could post anything.
Where the pack and the label disagree
Two documents describe this product: the artwork, and the written pack the seller supplied. Where they disagree the artwork wins, because the artwork is what a buyer holds. Every disagreement found is below.
| Field | The written pack | The label | What we did |
|---|---|---|---|
| When to take it | “take it in the morning, preferably before a meal” and “Refrigerate after opening to preserve the potency of the probiotics” | “take one (1) capsule daily with an 8 oz. glass of water. Refrigerate for optimal quality.” No time of day, no meal, and no “after opening” | The site prints the label's wording as the instruction and records the pack's additions as the seller's advice rather than the manufacturer's. The difference matters: “refrigerate” and “refrigerate after opening” are different instructions about the same bottle. |
| Storage | the pack says nothing about storage beyond refrigeration | the same side panel prints both “Refrigerate for optimal quality” and “STORE IN A COOL, DRY PLACE” | Both are printed in full, side by side, with the observation that a refrigerator is cool and is not dry. This site cannot resolve the contradiction and does not pretend to. |
| Telephone number | +1 (302) 200-3480, described as the order desk | +1 (507) 448-8190, printed under DISTRIBUTED BY | Both numbers are published, each labelled with what it is for. Refunds and orders go to the desk number; the label number is the distributor's. |
| Who distributes it | the pack does not name a distributor | DISTRIBUTED BY: INSTITUTO EXPERIENCE, LAKELAND FL, 33804 | Printed as it appears. Note what is not there: no street line. A city, a state and a ZIP are not an address you could post anything to. |
| Reviews | a 4.5 score, 1,169 written reviews, 5,319 orders, 89% recommending and eight named reviewers | nothing about reviews appears on the artwork | The pack's own precautions block says those figures are layout copy. The site therefore publishes no rating, no review count and no Review or AggregateRating markup. |
| Bonus material | the pack names no bonus anywhere | six bonus covers were supplied as images | The covers are shown once, on the bonuses page, with a plain statement that nothing was supplied about what they contain, whether they are included, or with which pack. |

What is still not on the label
- No colony-forming unit count appears anywhere — not per capsule, not at manufacture, and not at the end of shelf life.
- No strain designation for any of the three organisms. Species only.
- No split of the 36 mg blend between the three organisms.
- No statement of how the live organisms were stabilised, or whether they are live at all when the bottle reaches you.
- No expiry or best-before date is visible in any supplied image.
- No resolution of the label's own storage contradiction: “refrigerate” and “store in a cool, dry place” are both printed on it.
- No street line in the distributor's address — only a city, state and ZIP.
- No certificate of analysis, laboratory report or test result was supplied; the lot and CoA codes in the pack are draft labels.
It is a much shorter list than this site usually prints, and the first three items are the ones that matter. A probiotic without a count and without a strain is a probiotic you cannot check.
The front of the bottle, and what it claims
Three claims, each carrying an asterisk, and the asterisk is doing real work.

| Printed claim | What it establishes |
|---|---|
| Metabolic & Digestive Support* | A structure/function claim. “Support” has no legal threshold and no measurement attached to it. |
| Supports Appetite Control And Satiety* | A second structure/function claim. Neither of the two authorised EU claims for these ingredients is about appetite. |
| Promotes Energy Production From Fats* | A third. It describes a mechanism, and a mechanism is not an effect and is not a measurement. |

Set those three beside the two claims a regulator has actually authorised for these ingredients — chicory inulin and stool frequency at 12 g a day, resistant starch and blood glucose when it replaces starch in a meal — and the difference is instructive. The authorised claims are narrow, specific and conditional. The printed ones are none of those things, which is exactly why they need no authorisation.

One, three or six bottles. The price is on the seller’s checkout page, because it is one of the few figures this site was never given — and a figure we were not given is not a figure we will print.
Shipping cost and delivery time were not supplied either, which matters more than usual on a product whose label asks for refrigeration. The guarantee is 60 days from purchase unless the sales page prints longer.
