Disclaimer

Six statements sit in the footer of every page on this site. This page prints each one in full, says what it actually means, and names the decision it ought to change — because a disclaimer that changes no decision is decoration.

Quick answer

The statements are: the FDA line required on a structure/function claim, the medical line, the results line, the affiliate disclosure, the reviews statement, and the age statement. Each is printed in full below with a translation, and there is a table setting all of them beside the decision each one should change.

There is also a seventh, specific to this product. This site publishes arithmetic comparing a declared amount on a United States label with a dose set by a regulator in another jurisdiction. That comparison is offered as information about scale. It is not a statement that anything is unlawful.

One of six

The FDA statement

The sentence that appears on the bottle, on every page of this site, and on almost every supplement sold in the United States.

As printed

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

What it means: no government body has assessed the claims on this bottle and concluded that they are true. Dietary supplements are not approved before sale in the way a medicine is. The manufacturer is responsible for the claims, and this sentence is the required admission that nobody checked them first.

The label’s own claims — “Metabolic & Digestive Support”, “Supports Appetite Control And Satiety”, “Promotes Energy Production From Fats” — each carry an asterisk that leads to this sentence. They are structure/function claims. They describe what an ingredient is said to support, not what the product was demonstrated to do.

What it does not mean: it is not an accusation, and it is not a warning. It is the same sentence on the honest products and the dishonest ones, which is exactly why it cannot be used to tell them apart. FDA’s own guidance on contaminated products is blunt about the limits here: it cannot test products before they reach the market, and its database of problem products covers a small fraction of what is on sale.

Two of six

The medical disclaimer

The one that matters most on a product containing live organisms.

As printed

Nothing on this site is medical advice. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist before starting any supplement, and especially before starting a live-organism product if you are unwell, immunocompromised, or taking any medicine.

What it means: nothing here can take account of your history, your medicines or your current state of health, and those are the three things that decide whether a supplement is a reasonable idea for you. A page can tell you what is in the bottle. Only a clinician can tell you what that means for you.

On this product the line has teeth. The National Institutes of Health’s Office of Dietary Supplements records that probiotics have been linked to bacteraemia, fungaemia and infections resulting in severe illness — most of them in people who were severely ill or immunocompromised — and FDA warned in 2023 that probiotics given to preterm infants may cause invasive and potentially fatal disease.

The label says the same thing in its own words: pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and anyone with a known medical condition should consult a physician before using this or any dietary supplement. Add anyone immunocompromised or seriously unwell, on the evidence above. Take the ingredient list to the appointment; it is three declared rows and four inactives, and it fits on a phone screen.

Three of six

The results disclaimer

The shortest of the six and the one most often printed in the smallest type.

As printed

Individual results vary. Food, sleep and activity still matter, and no capsule replaces any of them.

What it means: nobody can tell you what this will do for you, because nobody has measured it in you. It also means the things that reliably move weight and digestion — what you eat, how you sleep, how much you move — are still doing the work, and a capsule sits alongside them rather than in place of them.

The Federal Trade Commission publishes a list of weight-loss claims it says are always false, and the first of them is substantial loss without any change to diet or exercise. No sentence on this site makes one of those claims, and a seller who does is telling you something about themselves.

There is a specific version of this on this product. If you are buying it for fibre, the results line is not the relevant disclaimer — the arithmetic is. 211 mg of chicory inulin a capsule is 0.75% of FDA’s 28 g Daily Value for dietary fibre, and FDA’s own rule of thumb calls 5% or less of a Daily Value low.

Four of six

The affiliate disclaimer

A conflict of interest, printed rather than buried.

As printed

Slimtidedaily is a stocking partner for this product. If you buy through this site we may be paid for the sale. It has not changed a figure on this site, and the arithmetic below is the evidence of that: it is not flattering.

What it means: the people who wrote these pages are paid if you buy. That is a reason to read everything here more carefully, and the correct response to it is not to promise you that the writing is impartial. It is to publish the things a conflicted party would rather not publish and let you check.

Here is that list, so it can be checked in one place: reaching the only authorised daily intake for chicory inulin would take 57 capsules a day and the label says do not exceed one; the resistant-starch claim is structurally unavailable to a capsule taken with water; the probiotic is declared by weight with no count in either form; no strain is named for any of the three organisms; and the same side panel says refrigerate and says store in a cool, dry place.

None of that is flattering, and all of it was published by a site that earns a commission on the sale. That is what the disclosure is for.

Five of six

The reviews statement

The one most sites do not have to write, because most sites publish the reviews.

As printed

This site publishes no customer reviews, no star rating and no order count. The figures supplied to it were described by their own author as layout copy.

What it means: a score of 4.5 / 5, 1,169 written reviews, 5,319 orders and eight named reviewers were supplied to this site, and the precautions block supplied alongside them describes those figures as layout copy. A figure its own author calls layout copy is not a measurement, so none of it is published here as customer feedback.

There is a second reason, which is what happens when you read the eight named reviews. Across eight people there are three distinct review bodies; four of them repeat one sentence word for word. The five-star distribution supplied is identical to the one supplied with a different product, under a different brand, in the same series.

So this site carries no rating, no review count, no order count and no Review or AggregateRating structured data of any kind. FDA’s own advice on avoiding contaminated products runs the same way: be wary of a product carrying multiple rave reviews.

Six of six

A disclaimer specific to this product

The arithmetic this whole site rests on needs its own statement, and this is it.

This site publishes arithmetic. It takes a declared amount printed on a United States supplement label and divides it into a figure published by a regulator in another jurisdiction — the European Union’s authorised daily intake of 12 g of native chicory inulin, from Regulation (EU) 2015/2314.

What that comparison is, and what it is not

European Union regulations do not govern a product sold in the United States. Nothing on this site says or implies that this product breaks any rule, in any jurisdiction, at any point.

The EU figure is cited for one reason: it is the most specific published statement anybody has made about what daily intake of chicory inulin does something, written down by a body that examined the evidence before writing it. A number examined by a regulator is a better yardstick than a number nobody wrote down.

The comparison is therefore offered as information about scale. It tells you what 211 mg buys against the only published target that exists. It is not a statement about legality, and it is not a criticism of a panel that is, on every other measure, the best documented this series of sites has been given.

The same caution applies to the two other European figures cited here. Regulation (EU) No 432/2012’s resistant-starch claim and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/168’s authorisation of pasteurised Akkermansia muciniphila are cited as published documents describing what a regulator concluded, not as rules this product is being measured against for compliance.

Where a United States figure exists, this site uses it as well and says which is which. FDA’s Daily Value for dietary fibre, 28 g a day, is the American yardstick and it appears beside the European one every time the European one is used.

And a seventh line

The age statement

Printed on the bottle and repeated here, because it is the one line that excludes a whole group of readers outright.

As printed

For healthy adults 18 years and over. Not for anyone under 18.

The label says the same thing twice over: Adults 18 and over is the stated audience, and the caution adds that children under the age of 18 should consult a physician before using this or any dietary supplement. This site is written for adults and nothing on it is addressed to anyone younger.

It is worth saying why an age line exists on a fibre-and-probiotic product at all. Live-organism products have a documented safety question in the very young — FDA’s 2023 warning concerned preterm infants specifically — and an age statement is the blunt instrument that keeps that question away from the people it applies to.

The table

All six, and the decision each one should change

A disclaimer that changes no decision is decoration. This column on the right is the only reason to read the other two.

The wording in the middle column is this site’s translation, not a legal equivalent. The left column is the one that is printed.
The statementIn plain EnglishThe decision it should change
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration…Nobody official checked whether the claims on this bottle are true before it went on sale.Stop treating the front-panel claims as findings. Read the panel on the back instead, where the numbers are.
Nothing on this site is medical advice…This page does not know your history, your medicines or your current health, and those decide the answer. If you are immunocompromised, seriously unwell, pregnant, nursing, under 18 or taking any medicine, settle it with a clinician before you buy rather than after.
Individual results vary…Nobody measured this in you, and food, sleep and activity are still doing the work.Do not buy on the strength of an expected outcome. Buy on the strength of what the panel declares, which is checkable.
Slimtidedaily is a stocking partner…The people who wrote this are paid if you buy.Read the unflattering parts of this site as the test of the disclosure, and check the figures against the linked sources rather than trusting the prose.
This site publishes no customer reviews…The feedback supplied was described by its own author as layout copy.Do not let a star rating anywhere decide this. Use the label, the sources and the arithmetic, which cannot be written by a copywriter.
For healthy adults 18 years and over…Not for children, and not a product to hand to anyone the label excludes. If you are buying for someone else, check the exclusions on the label before you order, not after it arrives.
EU regulations do not govern a product sold in the United StatesThe 12 g figure is a yardstick from another jurisdiction, cited because it is the only published one.Read the capsule arithmetic as a statement about scale, not as an allegation. The finding is what 211 mg buys, not that a rule was broken.

The right-hand column is where the six stop being boilerplate. Each one of them is capable of changing a decision, and five of the seven change it before you spend anything.

The gaps

What this site could not verify

A disclaimer page that lists only the required statements is leaving out the useful half. This is the useful half.

The list below is the set of things this site wanted and was not given. Each one is an absence rather than a fault: nothing here says any of them is wrong, only that nobody supplied it, and that no page on this site is allowed to fill a gap with an estimate.

  • No colony-forming unit count appears anywhere — not per capsule, not at manufacture, and not at the end of shelf life.
  • No strain designation for any of the three organisms. Species only.
  • No split of the 36 mg blend between the three organisms.
  • No statement of how the live organisms were stabilised, or whether they are live at all when the bottle reaches you.
  • No expiry or best-before date is visible in any supplied image.
  • No resolution of the label's own storage contradiction: “refrigerate” and “store in a cool, dry place” are both printed on it.
  • No street line in the distributor's address — only a city, state and ZIP.
  • No certificate of analysis, laboratory report or test result was supplied; the lot and CoA codes in the pack are draft labels.
  • No registration number for the FDA-registered-facility mark, and no certificate for the GMP mark.
  • No name, credential or role for the “Doctor Formulated” mark.
  • No price, shipping cost or delivery estimate for any pack.
  • Nothing at all about the six bonus covers beyond the covers themselves.

Two of those deserve a sentence of their own. The absence of any colony-forming unit count means there is no number anywhere describing how many live organisms a capsule contains, at manufacture or at the end of shelf life. The absence of a strain designation means the three species named cannot be matched to any published trial, because probiotic effects are strain-specific.

The lot reference SLI-26/SL-7735 and the certificate reference SLI-7735-26-SL that appear in the seller’s written pack are draft label references. They are not laboratory proof, no certificate of analysis was supplied to this site, and every page that mentions those codes says so.

Where these statements appear

So that nothing here reads as a page you were meant to miss.

All six statements sit in the footer of every page on this site, not only on this one. They are repeated where they matter most: the medical line on the side-effects page and the page about who this is for, the results line on the timeline page, the affiliate line beside every buy link, and the reviews line on the reviews page that has no reviews on it.

This page was last reviewed on September 24, 2026. Every source cited here was opened and read when the site was written, and each is linked in full below. Corrections go to [email protected] with the page and the sentence.

One, three or six bottles. The price is on the seller’s checkout page, because it is one of the few figures this site was never given — and a figure we were not given is not a figure we will print.

Shipping cost and delivery time were not supplied either, which matters more than usual on a product whose label asks for refrigeration. The guarantee is 60 days from purchase unless the sales page prints longer.
