Privacy policy

This is a static information website. It has no accounts, no checkout, no forms and no comment box, so most of what a privacy policy usually describes does not happen here at all. The part worth reading is the part about the things that happen somewhere else.

Quick answer

This website is a set of flat pages. It asks you for nothing, stores nothing you type, and sets no cookie of its own. If you buy, you leave this site for the seller’s checkout, and from that point your name, address, email and card details are handled by the order desk and by the payment processor, which are separate parties from this website.

That separation has a consequence people usually want stated plainly: this site cannot see your order and cannot delete your order record, because it never held one. A privacy question about these pages goes to [email protected]. A privacy question about an order goes to the order desk on +1 (302) 200-3480, because that is where the record actually is.

The shape of it

What this website is

A policy only makes sense once you know what the thing being described can physically do.

Every page on slimtidedaily.com is a file. It is written, built into HTML once, and served as it is. There is no login, no basket, no checkout, no newsletter sign-up, no contact form, no comment box and no account of any kind. Nothing on these pages sends what you do back to us.

That is not a privacy feature anybody designed. It is what a reference site is. The site exists to publish what the label says and what published sources say about it, and none of that work needs to know anything about you.

One page carries an interactive check — four questions with three possible outcomes, meant to tell you whether anything on the bottle is worth settling with a clinician first. It runs entirely in your browser. In the words printed beside it: nothing you answer is stored, sent or used to change a price. With JavaScript off it does not run, and all three of its conclusions are printed below it as ordinary text.

The only browser capability the site’s script uses at all is the clipboard, and only at the moment you press a copy button on a block of text you asked to copy.

The list

What this site does not collect

Written as a list because a list is checkable and a paragraph is not.

  • No name, email address, postal address or telephone number, because nothing here asks for one.
  • No account, password or profile, because there are no accounts.
  • No payment details of any kind. This site has no checkout and never sees a card number.
  • No cookie set by this website, for analytics, advertising, preferences or anything else.
  • No health information. The four-question check on the fit page never leaves your browser and is not written down anywhere.
  • No profile built across pages, and no identifier attached to you so that a later visit can be matched to an earlier one.

A hosting server necessarily handles the request that delivers a page to you, in the same way every web server on the internet does. No log, report or dashboard from that hosting is used by this site to build any record of a reader, and nothing on these pages adds anything to it.

Why this section is so short

Most privacy policies are long because most sites do a great deal. They run carts, remember baskets, retarget visitors and share identifiers with advertising networks, and each of those needs a paragraph.

This one does none of it, so the honest version of the section is six lines. The length of a policy is not a measure of how careful a site is being with you.

The handover

What happens the moment you click a buy link

This is the sentence the rest of the page depends on.

Every buy button on this site leads to the seller’s order page. When you follow one, you leave these pages. What you type after that — your name, your delivery address, your email address, your card details — is typed into the seller’s checkout, not into this website, and it is handled by two parties this site is not.

The order desk
The desk that takes the order, ships it, tracks it, changes it and refunds it. It is reachable on +1 (302) 200-3480, which is the number for orders, tracking, changes and refunds. It holds your order record because it has to in order to send you a bottle.
The payment processor
Whoever handles the card transaction at the checkout. This site was not told which processor that is and does not guess, so no processor is named here. Its terms are the ones displayed at the checkout, at the moment you are asked to pay.
This website
Publishes pages, and is paid if a sale results. It is not shown your order, your name or your card, and it is not able to look any of them up.

The reason to spell that out is that the three are easy to mistake for one company with three phone numbers. They are not, and the difference decides who can help you. A message sent to the wrong one of the three does not get forwarded — it gets a reply saying it went to the wrong place, and that reply takes a day you did not have to spend.

The limit

What this site cannot do about an order record

The honest version of the paragraph most policies write as “your rights”.

This site cannot see your order. It cannot confirm that an order exists, read what was in it, change the address on it, cancel it, or delete the record of it. None of that is a policy choice that could be reversed by asking twice. The record is not here.

The same routing table appears on the contact page, because getting it wrong is the most expensive mistake a reader of this site can make.

Scroll this table sideways →

The last row is the one people do not expect. The label names Instituto Experience of Lakeland, Florida as distributor and prints a telephone number for it. That is a different number from the order desk, and it is not an alternative to it: one answers questions about the product, the other answers questions about your parcel.

If you write to [email protected] about an order, the reply will be this paragraph with your question quoted back to you. It is not unwillingness. The inbox that reads website corrections has no access to any order system at all.

The inbox

Writing to this website

What happens to an email you send here, in the order it happens.

  1. You write to [email protected]

The address is for pages, typos, privacy questions about these pages, and press. It is read Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Time.

  2. It is read by the editorial desk

The same desk that writes the pages. There is no ticketing system, no marketing automation and no list that your address is added to as a side effect of writing.

  3. It is answered, or it is routed

If the question is about a page, you get an answer about the page. If it is about an order, you get told to call +1 (302) 200-3480 — which is the fastest true answer available.

  4. It is kept as long as the correction is live

A message that reports an error on a page is kept while the correction is being made and checked, because a correction with no record of what prompted it is hard to verify later. Nothing in it is used to market anything to you.

Do not send medical details to that address. It is a website correction inbox staffed by people who write pages, not clinicians, and a symptom described in an email cannot be answered responsibly by either. Questions about whether this product suits you belong with a doctor or a pharmacist.

Age

Children

Short, because it is short.

This product is for adults 18 and over, which the label itself says, and this site is written for the same readers. It is not directed at children, it does not knowingly collect anything from anyone, and since it collects nothing from anyone at all, it collects nothing from a child either.

If a child under 18 has ordered the product, that is a question for the order desk on +1 (302) 200-3480, because the order record and the refund mechanism both live there.

Scope

Where this policy applies

Stated narrowly on purpose, because a broad claim here would be an invented one.

This website is published for readers in the United States and the product it describes is sold there. No claim is made here about how the law of any other country treats these pages, and no data protection registration, supervisory authority or officer is named — because none was appointed and inventing one would be worse than saying so.

Where this site cites a European regulation, as it does throughout for the chicory inulin figure, that is a citation of a published document and nothing more. It does not put this website, the seller or the product under European law, and this site does not claim otherwise anywhere.

If a legal obligation applies to this site that this page does not describe, the obligation applies regardless of what is written here. A policy page is a description, not a grant of permission.

Housekeeping

Changes, and when this was last read

A dated page is easier to trust than an undated one.

This policy is rewritten when what the site does changes. Since what it does is publish flat pages, the changes that would matter are large and obvious: a form appearing, a cookie being set, an analytics script being added. If one of those ever happens, this page changes first.

One, three or six bottles. The price is on the seller’s checkout page, because it is one of the few figures this site was never given — and a figure we were not given is not a figure we will print.

Shipping cost and delivery time were not supplied either, which matters more than usual on a product whose label asks for refrigeration. The guarantee is 60 days from purchase unless the sales page prints longer.
