SlimTide Official Website: Capsules for a Daily Weight Routine

"SlimTide is a dietary supplement capsule for a daily weight routine."

Use case: adults 18 and over take one capsule a day with an 8 oz glass of water. A bottle holds 30 capsules and lasts 30 days.

How it works: chicory root inulin (211 mg, a prebiotic fiber) and potato resistant starch (100 mg) are paired with a 36 mg blend of three probiotic species.

The short version

The panel declares 211 mg of chicory root inulin a capsule. The EU authorises the chicory inulin bowel-function claim only for foods providing 12 g a day. That is 57 capsules — and the label says not to exceed one.

The probiotic is declared as 36 mg by weight, which is the legal minimum, with three species named and no strain designations and no colony-forming count. Weight is not the number that describes a probiotic.

Credit where it is due

This is the best-documented label this series of sites has been given, and it is not close. Three declared per-serving amounts, a complete Other Ingredients line, a named distributor, storage, a caution and the required footnote. Nothing FDA’s labeling guide asks for is missing.

Which is exactly why the rest of this site can be about what the numbers mean instead of about what is absent. An honest panel is the thing that makes a product checkable — including when the check does not go the seller’s way.

The arithmetic

How many SlimTide capsules would the inulin dose take?

It would take 57 SlimTide capsules a day. Each capsule declares 211 mg of chicory root inulin, and the EU authorises its bowel-function claim only for 12 g a day. The label says not to exceed one capsule.

The panel declares 211 mg of chicory root inulin a capsule. The European Union authorises the chicory inulin bowel-function claim — “chicory inulin contributes to normal bowel function by increasing stool frequency” — only for food that provides a daily intake of 12 g of native chicory inulin.

How many capsules? One declared amount, two published targets, and one division
Declared per capsule211mgchicory root inulin, read off the Supplement Facts panel
The published target12gthe daily intake of native chicory inulin the claim may only be used for
Capsules a day57and the label says do not exceed one

One capsule is what the label says to take. The rest is what 12 g would take.

211 mg a capsule against 12,000 mg a day is 56.9 capsules, which rounds to 57. This is not a criticism of the panel. The panel is honest, and this is what it lets you work out.

Switch the target to see the other published figure. Both are somebody else’s number, not ours.

Twelve grams divided by 211 mg is 56.9. Against FDA’s Daily Value for dietary fibre, which is 28 g, the same capsule is 0.75% of a day — and FDA’s own rule of thumb calls 5% or less low.

Read this the right way round

This is not a claim that the product is fraudulent, and it is not a criticism of the panel. The panel is honest. It printed a real number, and a real number is the thing you can check.

It is a statement about what 211 mg buys. If you are choosing this product for its fibre, the arithmetic above is the fact you needed and it took one division to find.

The probiotic

What is in the SlimTide probiotic blend?

The SlimTide probiotic blend is 36 mg and names three species: Bifidobacterium infantis, Clostridium butyricum and Akkermansia muciniphila. It is declared by weight, with no strain designations and no colony-forming unit count printed anywhere.

A probiotic is defined — in the words NIH’s Office of Dietary Supplements uses — as live microorganisms that, when administered in adequate amounts, confer a health benefit on the host. The phrase in adequate amounts is doing the work, and the amount that describes a probiotic is not milligrams. It is colony-forming units.

ODS is explicit that US regulations require only the total weight of microorganisms, not a viable CFU count, and it advises choosing products that state CFU at the end of shelf life rather than at manufacture. This label declares 36 mg by weight. It is doing exactly what the law asks and nothing more.

What 36 mg lets you work outA proprietary blend must list its organisms in descending order of weight, so position k can weigh at most 36 mg divided by k
position 1 of 3
B. infantisBifidobacterium infantis
at most 36 mg
position 2 of 3
C. butyricumClostridium butyricum
at most 18 mg
position 3 of 3
A. muciniphilaAkkermansia muciniphila
at most 12 mg

Those three ceilings are the whole of it. The split could be 34, 1 and 1; it could be 12, 12 and 12. Nothing printed on the bottle distinguishes between them — and milligrams of powder are not organisms in any case, which is what the missing colony-forming count would have told you.

And there is a second gap underneath the first. ODS is equally explicit that probiotic effects are strain-specific, and warns that ignoring the strain produces misleading conclusions. Three species are named here, which is more than many blends print. No strain designation appears for any of them, so there is nothing to look up.

Storage

How should SlimTide be stored? The bottle argues with itself

The SlimTide label says both to refrigerate for optimal quality and to store in a cool, dry place. The written pack says to refrigerate after opening. Nothing supplied settles which instruction governs, so ask the order desk.

Under SUGGESTED USE
“… take one (1) capsule daily with an 8 oz. glass of water. Refrigerate for optimal quality.”
Under STORAGE
“Keep away from heat, light, and humidity to preserve freshness. Refrigerate for optimal quality.”
Four lines below that
“KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT USE IF SAFETY SEAL IS DAMAGED OR MISSING. STORE IN A COOL, DRY PLACE.”
And in the written pack
“Refrigerate after opening to preserve the potency of the probiotics.” A third version, and the only one that explains why.

A refrigerator is cool. A refrigerator is not dry. This site cannot tell you which sentence governs, because nothing supplied resolves it — and the question is not academic on a product whose active ingredient is alive.

How we work

Which SlimTide images are not published on this site?

Six images supplied with SlimTide are not on this site: mastheads, customer snapshots, a studio portrait and body-change photography. None was dropped for weight, and the full list of what was left out and why is public.

A row of mastheads

A journal, a newspaper and a scientific society set as a logo bar. Nothing supplied says any of them wrote about this product.

1 image

Five people holding the bottle

Supplied twice, at two sizes, styled as snapshots. None of them is attached to any of the eight supplied reviews.

2 images

A studio portrait

Cut out against transparency, with no name and no caption. On a product page a floating portrait reads as a customer or an expert.

1 image

Body-change photography

A waist being pinched with a tape measure, and two bare-torso fitness models. A before-and-after without the labels.

2 images

What we did publish

The bottle, the label flat, the pack shots, the ingredient stills, the quality marks and the six bonus covers — each with what it does and does not prove.

Four questions

Is SlimTide right for you? Who should ask a doctor first

SlimTide is for adults 18 and over. Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you are pregnant, nursing, immunocompromised, seriously unwell or on prescription medicine, because it contains live organisms. Four questions below check this.

Does this product fit you?Four questions. Nothing is stored and nothing is sent.

Are you immunocompromised, seriously unwell, or caring for an infant?

Do you take any prescription medicine, or have a known medical condition?

Can you keep a bottle refrigerated, including while it is in the post?

Are you looking to this capsule for a meaningful daily dose of fibre?

Answer the four questions above

Four questions, three outcomes, and every sentence in every outcome is already somewhere else on this site. Nothing you answer is stored, sent or used to change a price.

No pack price was supplied to this website. The pack says prices are whatever the sales page prints at checkout, so this site prints none and its Product markup carries no offers block at all. Everything on a card below is division: bottles, capsules, servings and days. The three-bottle pack is marked because the pack names it as its top seller, which is a claim about sales, not about results.

The scorecard

SlimTide review: our reading of the documentation

Our editorial score for SlimTide is 2.8 out of 5, across six readings. It rates the paperwork, not the product, and it is not a customer rating. The label scores 4.0, while the dose and probiotic readings score 1.0.

2.8/5
Our editorial score for SlimTideSix readings, each out of five, averaged. It is this site's opinion of the documentation, not a measurement of the product and not a customer rating — this site publishes none.
What the label tells you4.0 / 5

A complete Supplement Facts panel with three declared per-serving amounts, a full Other Ingredients line, storage, caution and a named distributor. This is the best-documented label in the series so far, and it is not close.

Whether the amounts match the research1.0 / 5

211 mg of chicory inulin against an authorised dose of 12 g. The panel is honest and the arithmetic is unforgiving.

What the probiotic actually tells you1.0 / 5

Declared by weight, which is the legal minimum, with no colony-forming units and no strain designations. Three species names that cannot be looked up against anything.

Internal consistency2.0 / 5

The same side panel says refrigerate and says store in a cool, dry place, and the written pack gives a third version. One label, three storage instructions.

Proof behind the marks on the bottle1.0 / 5

Eleven quality marks, no registration number, no certificate, no test result and no named clinician — with one exception: the vegetarian mark is borne out by the hypromellose capsule.

What the seller tells you about buying3.0 / 5

The desk, the number, the return address and the refund mechanics are stated plainly. Two different phone numbers are in play and neither document explains the other.

The first row is the highest this site has ever given a label, and the second is close to the lowest. Both are about the same document. That is what an honest panel does: it lets you find out.

It is not a star rating and it is not an average of anybody’s experience. This site publishes no customer rating at all, for the reason set out on the reviews page.

The gaps

What could not be confirmed about SlimTide?

No colony-forming unit count, no strain designation, no split of the 36 mg blend, no price and no certificate of analysis were supplied for SlimTide. The first two gaps matter most for the probiotic.

  • No colony-forming unit count appears anywhere — not per capsule, not at manufacture, and not at the end of shelf life.
  • No strain designation for any of the three organisms. Species only.
  • No split of the 36 mg blend between the three organisms.
  • No statement of how the live organisms were stabilised, or whether they are live at all when the bottle reaches you.
  • No expiry or best-before date is visible in any supplied image.
  • No resolution of the label's own storage contradiction: “refrigerate” and “store in a cool, dry place” are both printed on it.
  • No street line in the distributor's address — only a city, state and ZIP.
  • No certificate of analysis, laboratory report or test result was supplied; the lot and CoA codes in the pack are draft labels.
  • No registration number for the FDA-registered-facility mark, and no certificate for the GMP mark.
  • No name, credential or role for the “Doctor Formulated” mark.
  • No price, shipping cost or delivery estimate for any pack.
  • Nothing at all about the six bonus covers beyond the covers themselves.

Any of these could be filled in by the seller in an afternoon. A CFU figure at end of shelf life and three strain designations would change what this site is able to say about the most interesting ingredient in the bottle.

Questions

SlimTide FAQ: ingredients, side effects, price and where to buy

These answers cover what SlimTide is, its ingredients, dose, storage, side effects, FDA status, price and refund terms. Each comes from the printed label or from pages on this site. No price or customer review was supplied.

What is SlimTide?

SlimTide is a dietary supplement capsule for a daily weight routine, made for adults 18 and over. A bottle holds 30 capsules, and the label says to take one a day with an 8 oz glass of water. See the panel, line by line.

What are the ingredients in SlimTide?

Each capsule declares 211 mg chicory root inulin, 100 mg potato resistant starch and a 36 mg probiotic blend of Bifidobacterium infantis, Clostridium butyricum and Akkermansia muciniphila. The capsule also holds hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and silica.

How do I take SlimTide?

Take one capsule a day with an 8 oz glass of water, and no more. The label says not to exceed the recommended dose. One bottle of 30 capsules lasts 30 days. The label also says to refrigerate for optimal quality.

Does SlimTide work for weight loss?

No timeline or result was supplied for SlimTide, and this site promises none. Each capsule declares 211 mg of inulin, while the EU authorises the inulin bowel-function claim only for 12 g a day, which would be 57 capsules.

What are the side effects of SlimTide?

The label lists none beyond its caution line. Inulin can cause wind, and NIH records infections from live-organism products in people who were severely ill or immunocompromised. Pregnant or nursing mothers and anyone with a known medical condition should consult a physician first.

Is SlimTide FDA approved?

No. Being a dietary supplement, SlimTide gets no FDA approval before it is sold. The label carries the standard footnote that its statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.

Who should not take SlimTide?

The label says pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and anyone with a known medical condition should consult a physician first. Ask before buying if you are immunocompromised, seriously unwell or caring for an infant, because SlimTide contains live organisms.

Does SlimTide interact with medicines?

No drug interactions are listed on the label. The label does say anyone with a known medical condition should consult a physician first. If you take a prescription medicine, show a doctor or pharmacist the ingredient list before the first capsule.

How should I store SlimTide?

The label prints two instructions on the same side panel: refrigerate for optimal quality, and store in a cool, dry place. The written pack says to refrigerate after opening. This site cannot resolve the conflict, so ask the order desk. See the cold-chain question.

How much does SlimTide cost?

No price was supplied to this site, so none is printed here. The checkout page shows the price for one, three or six bottles. The packs hold 30, 90 or 180 capsules, which is 30, 90 or 180 days at one capsule a day.

Is this the SlimTide official website, and where can I buy it?

Slimtidedaily is a U.S. stocking partner for SlimTide, not the maker, and it publishes official product information from the label. The order links open the seller's checkout. The label names Instituto Experience of Lakeland, FL, as the distributor.

What is the SlimTide refund policy?

The guarantee is 60 days from purchase unless the sales page prints longer. Orders, tracking and refunds go to the order desk on +1 (302) 200-3480. The refund policy explains what to send and who pays return shipping.

Where to Buy SlimTide: see the packs

One, three or six bottles. The price is on the seller’s checkout page, because it is one of the few figures this site was never given — and a figure we were not given is not a figure we will print.

Shipping cost and delivery time were not supplied either, which matters more than usual on a product whose label asks for refrigeration. The guarantee is 60 days from purchase unless the sales page prints longer.
